About Shifnal Deli.

 

Shifnal Deli can be found  in the 17th century "Market Street" Shifnal the delicatessen is owned and run by Rachel and Chris Metcalfe who have a simple philosophy – a friendly, welcoming shop with knowledgeable staff selling carefully sourced and delicious foodstuffs.

 

Rachel and Chris are passionate about the foods they sell and aim to match this with underlying values – excellent customer service and a willingness ‘to go the extra mile’ as order can be taken for that special treat or dinner party.

 

We have been trading since October 2009, and are due to a requiremnt for additional space we have relocated to a bigger shop, giving us the scope to provide more to our valued customers of Shifnal and the surrounding towns in Telford.

 

Rachel, started working as a Chef in 1985 gaining experience in various restaurants and hotels. ''After 20 plus years of working as a Chef I thought it was time to run my own business and with the help of my husband Chris we took on the 'Deli'

 

We became members of The Heart of England Fine Foods who helped us source more locally produced foods.

 

We produce homemade delicious nutricious foods that will keep our customers coming back for more.

 

If there is anything that we dont supply and you are trying to get,we will strive to fulfill your requirements''.

 

Our sandwiches and baguettes are made freshly to order using the best ingredients. We also serve great coffee, fruit smoothies and all sorts of lunchtime or snack-time treats to go!

 

We stock a good and wide range of local and continental delights, locally try the selection of cheeses from Mr Moydens in Newport. Mikes homemade jams and chutneys, Shropshire honey, and we have a daily bread selection supplied by Trows in Madeley, we encourage pre-orders to avoid disappointment.
